Christel Larsson (Sweden)

Christel Larsson got her dental degree at Lund University in 1996 and has practiced in the public dental health sector as well as in private practice. She is a licensed specialist in Prosthodontics since 2011 and currently has a position as Associate professor and Head of the Department of Prosthodontics at Malmö University.

Her research focus is on dental materials, manufacturing techniques and dental implants, with a special interest in dental ceramics. The research comprises prospective clinical trials, retrospective long-term multifactorial analyses as well as laboratory studies. She has international collaborations and is currently visiting associate professor at Riga Stradins University. She is a member of the review board of the International Journal of Prosthodontics.
