Date and location

The preparation will be between March and July 2025.

No registration will be accepted after July 9^th 2025.

The written and oral exams will be held during the Annual congress in Monaco (September 18^th-20^th 2025)

The application fees do not cover the entrance to the congress. If the participant wishes to participate to the congress, the registration will be mandatory.

The registration to the congress is not mandatory in order to pass the written and the oral exams.

Onsite Exams

The first step consists in uploading cases to the dedicated platform. Then, the cases will be examined by a jury who will select the accepted participants.

If the participants do not fill all the requirements and is not selected by the jury, she/he will not be refunded.

The second step is a multiple-choice question. To get to the next step, the participants must obtain a 60% grade. If the percentage is not reached, the participant will not attend the oral exam.

If the participant fails the written exam, please note that she/he will not be refunded.

The third step is an oral examination on the cases submitted. The participants must have their presentation ready to share to the jury. The jury will be the only one to approve the oral examination and deliver the EAO Certification Exam in implant-based therapy to the participant.

If the participant fails the oral examination, please note that she/he will not be refunded.

Cancellation Conditions

Cancellations must be sent in writing to the EAO Office. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after the onsite exams.

Cancellations by the participant for any reason:

• For a cancellation before April 1^st 2025, no cancellation fees applicable, 100% refund of registration fees, less 100 € of administrative costs
• For cancellation between April 1^st and May 16^th 2025: Refund of 50% of registration fees
• For cancellation after May 17^th 2025: no refund

Cancellation by the EAO:

In case the EAO would have to cancel the onsite exams, for any reason, including Covid restrictions, no cancellation fees will apply. 100% of the paid registration fees will be refunded to the participants. Participants will not be able to claim any refund or compensation to EAO for other expenses already incurred, such as travel tickets, etc.
