Our governance structure, from the Board of Directors to the Executive Committee, ensures that we remain at the cutting edge, guided by the principles of integrity, clinical excellence, and the relentless pursuit of advancing the science and practice of implant dentistry to improve patient care globally.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors, appointed by the General Assembly, convenes at least twice a year. The four members of the Executive Committee – President, President-Elect, General Secretary, and Treasurer – are nominated from among those directors and validated by the General Assembly.
The Executive Committee approves the day-to-day management decisions in coordination with the Committees’ Chairs.

The General Assembly
Each year, the EAO holds its ordinary General Assembly for full members during its Annual Congress. All full members are invited to attend to participate in the life of the association and learn about its current and upcoming projects.
Date and location
The 2025 General Assembly will be held during the Joint Meeting in Monaco, probably on Friday, September 19th at 17:00.
Who can attend?
Only EAO full members are invited to attend the General Assembly and have full voting rights. EAO full members who cannot attend in person, may appoint another full member to represent them and vote on their behalf using a Proxy Form.
